Gaming Revenue FAQ

Central Region Baton is a non-profit organization operated by a dedicated Board of Directors.  We are dedicated to the growth and development of the sport of baton twirling and its athletes.

One of the ways we support the growth and development of baton is by offering funding to help grow the sport, support our coach development and keep the costs associated with the sport reasonable for all.  To this end, Central Region participates in bingos each year and hosts a casino approximately every two years. These events bring in revenues that can in turn help us provide this funding.

To maintain this revenue stream, we require the help of many volunteers.  By working at bingo and casino events, you help support the region and thereby the sport and your club and will see the benefits in lower fees, more opportunities to train and better quality training.

Volunteering is fun and easy and there are many opportunities throughout the year.  Our hope is that each family will choose to support baton in the region by signing up to work at least two shifts per year.  If you are able to volunteer more, that is also fantastic!  Many hands make light work!
